2000W Handheld Laser
G4-2000WC uses the latest generation laser source for high electrical efficiency, reliability and stability. With 2kW of laser output this model uses the full size body for optimal cooling and indefinite operation in hot Australian summers.
Our handheld fiber laser welding machines are unbeatable for welding sheet metal. Trials run on a customer’s 1.2mm stainless steel sheet metal products showed laser welding was SIX times faster than TIG welding.
Using a 4th generation “double wobble” welding head, this handpiece is well known as the best on the market. Using the double pendulum galvanometer (two rotating mirrors) it can trace up to six very useful patterns for welding, including the common circle pattern, oval ellipse, triangle and hourglass figure 8 shapes. The pattern size can range from 0mm for laser cutting, up to 5mm diameter if required by your situation.
We include a useful range of welding tips to suit external, internal and butt joints, including wire feeder types. Spare protective lenses are also included, and our consumable prices (protective lenses as required and tips if they wear out) are the lowest in Australia.
This fiber laser welder requires little practice to start using and welds very fast. For anyone welding sheet metal, this machine can save you a lot of time and money in your welding production. 2000W easily penetrates and welds up to 4mm thick stainless steel or carbon steel including galvanised steel, and welds up to 4mm aluminium with full penetration.
The overal dimensions of this water cooled laser welder are 115x57x120cm high (180kg).
TWIN ROLLER WIRE FEEDER FOR LASER WELDER
We include a high quality twin-roller wire feeder AT NO EXTRA COST. Wire feeding is necessary if the parts being welded have gaps, and essential for fillet welding or adding material. Unlike a MIG, on a laser welder the wire feeder helps control the welding speed, making it quite easy to weld consistently and neatly.
Our wire feeder dimensions are 57x24x42cm tall (7kg). The feed cable is 3m long, mainly to avoid excessive friction in the feed tube which could cause feeding problems if too long.
LASER CLEANING 3 IN 1 OPTION FOR LASER WELDER
LASER CLEANING is a must at the low additional cost. See the separate laser cleaner upgrade if you require this option. Note that the cleaner option changes the spec to a Raytools head (Swiss brand, so once again high quality), with a changeable front section, easily able to be swapped from welding to cleaning (in a dustless environment!). As you would expect, the control software has welding and cleaning user interfaces built in.
